Linux FAQ

Everyone is entitled to one’s opinion. Regardless of the truth value of a certain viewpoint, it depends on the receiving person whether to accept it or not. Such is the case for a website which calls itself as Linux FAQ. If you are a Linux newbie, you better prepare yourself for the mental assaults and emotionally-charged arguments being espoused by Linux FAQ. Just like in any healthy debate, any Linux advocate should take this with a positive spin and consider it as a constructive criticism instead.

It’s important to bear in mind that Linux is an identity, just as Windows is distinct from Mac OS.

To quote a blog from Tech Radar,

the success of open-source software is so difficult to judge using the same language as its competitors.

Oh, btw…if you want an FAQ that doesn’t bitch about Linux, faqs.org has one for that.
