CLI can be your friend but there is a price. You have to invest time and tons of trial and error. CLI is akin to manual driving. CLI brings you deeper into the metal.

On the other hand, GUI is automated and basically addresses a mere subset of problems. It may address the common routines. It is visual. It gets the job done and then some. GUI is akin to automatic driving.

Note that this is not about CLI vs GUI tools.

It is all about knowing the limits of your GUI tool. CLI starts where GUI ends. But it’s up to you how deep will you go down the rabbit hole.
